(Picture of Pikachu, the only Pokemon I know and Ash the trainer...I think!) Hands up if you're over 15 and still play Pokemon on Nintendo DS? I recently took my son to a Nintendo Pokemon competition at the Nintendo Connection at Myer city store. He's 10 and he thought he had an excellent chance at winning (he has been playing for the last 2 -3 years)!!! The competition was open to the first 128 people who registered on the day. It was very exciting, as this was my first experience at a gaming competition. But I didn't realise the majority of people who were there were mainly over the age of 15!!! My son had a very slim chance if any at all at beating these other competitors as most have been playing since the beginning...that's atleast 10 years! So I believe some (majority) of the competitors were over 20 years old! |
